Malcolm X. Haraway (Copy)
Mr. Malcolm Haraway is the Director of Information Technology at Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, Texas. He provides strategic planning and execution of the university’s technology infrastructure and IT Support operations. Mr. Haraway chairs several campus committees and lead the COVID-19 Technology Task Force. Intermittently, he serves as the Acting Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Malcolm served as the Senior Director of Information Technology at Wilberforce University from 2017-2018.
Malcolm has a strong history of leadership. Currently at Huston-Tillotson University, he is the co-chair for the Library and Instructional Technology Committee and chair of the Jenzabar CX Power Users Group. He is a prominent member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Inc. and currently serves as the Chapter Advisor for the Gamma Lambda Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. During his undergraduate years he served as the Junior Vice Polemarch (President) for the East Central Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Mr. Haraway is a native of Houston, Texas. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Nuclear Engineering for Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Huston-Tillotson University.
Malcolm Haraway also has his own technology professional services and consulting company, Haraway Technologies, where he is the President and CEO.
